Make beds; change sheets (if clean sheets are laid out or we're told beforehand); vacuum or sweep; pick up items off floors (toys, clothes); fold or hang laundry if it needs it.

Dust; pick up items off the floor (toys, clothes, blankets, shoes); sweep or vacuum; remove trash.
